WHO IS WILD CODY?
Born in Washington State, I was heavily influenced by blues and rock n roll music. I started playing the guitar at 11 years old and was quickly influenced by B.B. King, Eric Clapton, and Jimi Hendrix. My process was simple. Listen to something and match it on the guitar. I then learned to sing and write through the same process.
Growing up, music resembled possibility. It gave me hope. It directed my energy and a feeling of positivity. It made me feel like I was walking on the clouds.
My sole purpose in releasing my compositions is that they could do the same for others.
A wolf, for me, symbolizes strength, determination, and confidence—qualities I believe are present in my music.
I look forward to the progression and doubt that I feel with each song I release.
This is the center and meaning of WILD CODY.
